A Leave No Trace Certification Event is offered to recognize groups that understand and have adopted the Leave No Trace skills. The certification is a daylong event where students demonstrate their Leave No Trace skills. Certification cards and patches are awarded to leaders and students upon successful completion of the Field Check Event. The focus of the certification event is on backcountry Leave No Trace skills.
